Consumption
Junction Studio was started as a place for Rapskalion to record demos. Headed by Rastiss, and assisted by both
Jimmy B and Breadmaster, Consumption Junction has been able to get better and
better quality recordings. We have
recorded countless demos, our “Six Songs We Think You Might Like” EP and both
sides of the Almost Blind, Rapskalion split CD “Consumption Junction”. At Consumption Junction we will record mix
and master your recordings, many times you get to leave with a finished product
the same day you come in. As well as
recording your band Consumption Junction can convert your 4 track, and stereo
cassette recordings to digital media. We
also have the ability to convert your ½” 2 track real to real to digital, that
is if you have any.
Consumption Junction does not replace a high end
professional recording studio, at least not yet, however if you are looking to
get solid recordings at affordable rates Consumption Junction might be the
place for you to record. The studio is
based around a 16 track Yamaha hard disc recording console, and is loaded with
gear if you are just looking to take you demos to the next level, more about
this in the equipment section.
Consumption Junction is always expanding. I will try to keep this site updated as much
as possible. As we acquire more
equipment and experience we will be sure to let you know. When you are looking for an affordable

The Yamaha
AW16G is 16 track hard disk recording console. With 8 simultaneous inputs and all of the digital editing options
of modern home recording setups this console can handle most of you
recording needs. With built in CD
burner you can leave with a mastered CD in hand same day as recording.
Fostex
XR-5 Four Track Recorder
The Fostex
XR-5 is a four track cassettes recording console. With 2 simultaneous inputs and none of the digital editing
options of modern home recording setups this console is pretty out of
date. However, this console has
been used in conjunction with the Yamaha above for transferring old four
track demos to digital media. After
all, tapes only last so long. Hell
some people even still love the four track.

Classic 100 is an all tube 100 watt.
This amp sounds amazing especially as a clean tone or for use with
effects peddles to cut through a mix.
Has master volume, lead channel has pre and post gain to allow for
some real nice variety in tones. Footswitch able reverb and lead. Series effects loop.
Marshall
JCM 900
The Marshal
JCM 900 is an all tube 50 watt powerhouse.
Classic Marshall tone with slightly higher gain than the popular JCM
800. Footswitch able lead channel
and reverb for each channel.
Parallel effects loop.
The Mesa Dual
Rectifier Trem-O-Verb is an all tube 100 watt high gain monster. This amp has all of the gain you can need
with tons of tight low end.

Tremolo and reverb for each channel. Each channel has 2 gain settings allowing everything from
blues to metal and back again.

RASTONE 327
The RASTONE 327 is a custom hand built 15 watt
class A tube amp. Built by Rastiss
himself this amp is a pretty much bare bones. This amp is great for recording leads with a little Tubescreamer
action in front of it. Single
channel with gain, volume, bass, mid, and treble controls.

SVT-3 PRO mounted in a rack with a BBE Sonic Maximizer 482 and Korg
tuner. Features 300watt output with
tube preamp and active EQ.

The VOX
Valvetronix is a very useful solid state 120 watt digital modeling
amp. This amp features 2 12”
Celestion speakers, many amp, and effects models. Amp models include Boutique clean, boutique distorted, AC30,
AC15, british, vintage high gain, modern high gain, and more. Effects models include, auto wah,
reverb, tremolo, delay, compression, distortion, and more.

RASTONE 1012
The RASTONE 1012 is a custom built speaker
cabinet. Built by Rastiss, this cabinet
is loaded with one 12” and one 10” Celestian speakers. This cabinet can be run with the
speakers in series at 16ohms of or in parallel at 4ohms. Each speaker is in its own compartment
and can be open back or closed back to tailor the sound of the cab to meet
your needs. Cabinet is made of 16
ply cabinet grade birch plywood.

Here

include solid, semi-hollow, and hollow body electric types as well as 6 and
12 string acoustics, bass, and mandolin. Guitars

a standard drum set however in a small studio space the electronic kit
makes for much better results. The
electronic kit can also be used for additional percussion and sound
effects. We will work
with your drummer to get the best results without making them feel out of
their element.
